Tree of Life

$1,850.00

The Tree of Life took me most of one long Minnesota winter to finish, bit by bit. You know how you look at the unplanned patterns in flooring, or the ceiling, or clouds? I wanted to make something I couldn’t stop staring at.

This large wall hanging was painted on very heavy paper — paper that is used to line walls — with a fabric frame sewed all around, and hanging from a weathered, linseed-oil-rubbed branch.

Only red acrylic paint and brown acrylic mixed with actual coffee was used on the paper.

Dimensions: 100” x 27.5” — free shipping in continental US.
